Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we present to you the proceedings from the 17th International Scientific Conference “Reproduction of Human Capital - mutual links and connections” held under the auspices of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the Prague University of Economics and Business as part of the IGA 11/2023 project. This year’s conference continued the long-standing tradition of bringing together experts from various fields and enabled discussions on key issues related to human capital reproduction in the context of demographic, economic, and social changes.

This paper proceedings contains contributions offering new insights, empirical studies, and theoretical analyses by leading experts and young researchers. The presented papers are divided into several thematic sections that reflect the main focus of the conference:

• Digitalization and Its Impact on the Labor Market and Education
• Health and Quality of Life in Changing Conditions
• Socio-Economic and Cultural Aspects of Global Changes

We would like to thank all authors for their contributions and participation in this year’s conference, which once again demonstrated that connecting various scientific disciplines and sharing knowledge is key to understanding the complex demographic and social challenges of our time.

We hope that this paper proceedings will serve as a source of inspiration and valuable information, as well as a stimulus for further discussions and collaboration in the field of human capital reproduction. We believe that the papers included here will be beneficial not only to the academic community but also to practice.
